Karisma is married to childhood friend and businessman Sanjay Kapoor. Before getting married to Sanjay, Karisma was engaged to Abhishek Bachchan, a bollywood actor and son of legendary actors Amitabh bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Karisma and Sanjay’s daughter, Samaira was born in 2005. She has recently given birth to a baby boy, Kiaan Raj on 12th March, 2010.

Both these movies received immense critical acclaim and Karisma was appreciated for her versatility.
